zeta, Barack's stand on meeting with rogue leaders is well known. He wants to change the notion that the high and mighty America and their leaders not meeting with them is some kind of a punishment for them. The ME is a very complex area. A good knowledge of their culture by a US President is pre-requisite for ME success. Obama knows how the Muslim countries think. There is no dearth of advice and knowledge on the Jewish way of approaching issues considering we have boatloads of Jewish Americans. And with a President Obama, I would think we would be closer to a ME solution than any other time in US history.
