What it means is that at the time there was what was known and a decision was made. What some wise man knows now is interesting but has no connection to what was known at the time.

So maybe there is a "Gee I could have had a V8" moment, but it is all academic Monday morning quarterbacking. I have so far seen no wise men, just lots of samo samo shallow thinking and fair amount of plain old Bush Derangement Syndrome.

The President stated a course of action and followed through even when it was extremely unpopular and unpolitical. I see enormous character and honesty.

I think Bush was about as reluctant as a pig heading for a trough.

Its amazing to me that no one seems to recall that GWB pumped his fist and hollered, "Feels GOOD!" as he announced the invasion.
