Re- "we'll pay you to buy to this house."
That was as frightening as it was creative.'

That is called a 'rebate.' It is neither creative, or frightening.

Ford and GM have been doing it for decades. I just bought a Norton software suite from Best Buy last weekend-and got 'paid to buy it' too. It's called a rebate.

In real estate- for years its been called a decorating, or a landscape allowance etc. But, the one thing I will give the gloom and doomers is this- America and the media has a habit of talking itself into recessions.

And as should be noted- numbers have been bandied about from 50% up to 70% of the major subprime losses lie in Florida and California, as do the foreclosures from speculative flippers- buying condo's and flipping them during the pre-construction phase etc. The good thing- is that both of these two states are two of the strongest states for population and economic growth.

I made a prediction here a while back- that 'something' would happen to allow us to invade Iran prior to the November elections. It's already starting. At $5 gasoline- watch how many liberals will DEMAND that we do something to protect mideast oil. It's like antigun liberals. The minute THEIR house gets broken into, or THEIR wife, or daughter gets assaulted- they turn into Charles Bronson.

Someone is making too much money smuggling black market oil out of Iraq and skimming billions. It's one of the largest windfalls in modern history for the 'cabal'- they won't give this one up without a fight- or another Twin Towers.

The inflation/military-industrial-oil trade is alive and well.
