To your issue, some periods temperature goes up, some periods it goes down. Yet in which periods has CO2 gone down? None in the past couple centuries.

The problem is that in the past couple of centuries, the temperature has trended up with only brief periods of any significant decline. That is why we call it global warming. Please tell us why the temps have trended upward for this timescale?
