He uses JFK's "we must never fear to negotiate or negotiate out of fear"...with attribution<g>.. But something has always struck me as not clear enough about it because in the right wing blogs, the 'meeting without preconditions' gets turned into he's embracing these leaders like a coward and or sympathizer..when if you listen to any of his foreign policy town halls since Iowa or formal speeches, you can hear the personal revulsion he has for these leaders..
