Obama is head and shoulders above McCain when it comes to intellect and temperament. Maybe that's all the reason he needs... Well, he could be another Albert Einstein, but that is not what the Presidency requires. Being President requires that person to do the right thing. Obama seems incapable of that.

Obama is head and shoulders above McCain when it comes to intellect and temperament. Intellect, schmintellect. Jimmy Carter was brighter, at least in the intellectual sense, than Ronald Reagan, but a much worse President. And I don't think we know that much about Obama's temperament. We haven't really seen him in unrehearsed situations, and he's been very carefully managed. His public persona is more affable than McCain's, and he has tons more charisma. Not enough for me to choose him as President.

What knowledge and proof of this statement do you have, tom? Obama sure could have fooled most of us....We would have left the church he supported financially and that he said supported him emotionally, a LONG time ago. Among other things...... Obama is head and shoulders above McCain when it comes to intellect and temperament.
