I went to the Gallup website to try and get some insight on that poll. Not much to get except that it was a large poll, nearly 7000 people and it was conducted over a long period-3/2 to 3/22. So it spanned both sides of the Pastor Wright flap.

To me, this made we think that the DNC would be smart to take a good hard look at this poll, i.e. take it apart and examine all the components because the sample size was large.

The DNC needs to find out why people feel this way and the sooner the better.

They will lose Florida and possibly Michigan if they disenfranchise the voters there.

I heard last night on the news that Obama's lawyers have successfully blocked a re-vote in both states. Like you, I think Florida is now lost to the party and it's a shame. I think we could have taken it this time around.

This could also peel off more Hillary supporters into the camp that won't vote for Obama because it's been obvious to the world that he was blocking the re-vote because he thought he would lose to her.

I agree with you that Hill and Bill would throw their support to Obama. These two are old pols and total party animals. Of course, there will be many left-wing pundits that will cast dispersions on that support....not enough, too fake, self-serving, you name it, LOL.

Howard Dean is proving worthless right now. He's joining Pelosi as someone I'd like to see replaced.
