pcy; thanks for that post, because it is very timely. It attempts to label and apply the term Locate to the loaning of shares to shorts. This term has weight in other senses as well. For those who do not understand, the broker dealers have disconnected Supply and demand. They have been replaced by a proprietary methodology they term Overbought OB and Oversold OS. Its from these terms that the public is being defrauded of market prices day in and day out. Locate becomes a primary illustrative term with respect to the disconnect of Supply and demand. Clearly broker dealer operations are operating under a metric OB /OS, where a market order no matter the size is completely ignored, and placed into some kind of columner account, whereby the broker dealers locate nothing, ever. Identifying this pattern was very difficult. By using very low floats where all volume should produce effects, with respect to price, i've been able to come full circle on the systemic character of the current overall trade. Its important to everyone to begin inserting the above information into current thinking and use in models. looking forward to expanding on these thoughts soon, and welcome observations from others.
