Moderate Democratic Governor of Tennessee Phil Bredesen has come up with what sounds like a great idea; hold a convention of Democratic party Superdelegates in June and have them vote for either Clinton or Obama then rather than allow the contest to drag on until August and hurt the party's chances for victory in November: You mean give those 800 political pros the chance of a lifetime to be standup Joes, to stand in the open away from the cover of the other 3000+ delegates, to show their stuff and declare their intentions? And to be accused from all sides of declaring themselves unelected kingmakers "selecting, not electing" the winner through backroom deals? Ha, ha, ha, are you friggin kidding me? Governor Bredesen is going to make them do this? Him and whose army?
