The current tax system is so rotten, so inefficient, so convoluted and counter productive that I would gladly pay more if what replaced it was something we could be proud of. Something that didn't punish achievment.

What we have is a national scandal.

They don't allow for those spending their savings. I tried entering a negative savings but it automatically and incorrectly converted the number to positive.

I have since traded emails with their web guy. He seems to understand the problem after a couple of back and forths. Here they are advocating a spending tax paradigm but their calculator is stuck in income tax mode. He said he forwarded the problem to the economists and would get back with me. I am impressed with that even if nothing comes of it.
