Holy Cow, thanks for sharing that. This has some repercussions on trading bonds. It seems as if the prices for the bonds were the absolute highest right before the TSFL garbage collection began.

The mechanics: this ensured that the initial value of the collateral was the highest possible.... (the contract traded 121. Since we are off a cool 3%).

Some of those encumbered or diluted bonds serve as deliverable for futures contracts...
