street smarts plus abilites to sniff out what's phony and what's important and not important in the grand scheme of things.

Since they pretty much elected Bush twice, I'm not sure that notion holds up so well.

Clinton seems to draw better from blue-collar workers with only HS educations. I wouldn't necessarily call them uneducated with regard to an election.

EDUCATION defined:

If reading and writing were education then brick and stone would be architecture.
