CJ, most of the defenders of Social Security exploit the fear that seniors will be poor and destitute without it.

Z claims that he wants to see fewer people dependent on SS. But raising taxes is going to hinder people from, among other things, being able to save for their retirement. And for what? To cover a shortfall when the Baby Boomers retire?

Net result: More people will be dependent on SS than ever before, i.e. the opposite of what Z intended.
