You said you wanted fewer people dependent on Social Security, don't you?

That would suggest that the need for SS would be a lot less, allowing the size of the program to be reduced (along with the corresponding payroll deductions).

Yet you also support raising taxes to cover a shortfall when the Baby boomers retire, i.e. more people dependent on SS.
