I think all those bullish possibilities mentioned in the post to which I am "replying" are still on the table. There are some others too -- like, this latest decline could be an evolving "C" of an irregular Flat following the first leg of the advance.

I am aware of the bearish potential here.... it is always nicer to deal with textbook impulses. However, look - for example - at the Spring of 2005 (SPX) reversal. There was plenty of choppiness and overlaps - and yet, what emerged out of it was a meaningful rally. Similarly, after the markets bottomed in August of last year the advance remained rather confusing. Even today we cannot be certain whether the rally to new highs which followed was an impulse - or a "three".

I think for now I will remain bullish - not defiantly or stubbornly so, but cautiously and... not without fear... g/ng
