KT,

The diary aspect of it makes some sense, but not the million.

I remember a few bets that Carl Ichan made with some rapper (they both owned top horses at the time). They were both talking some trash and they negotiated a bet where the loser had to make a contribution to the other guy's favorite charity. It's not like Boone is trying to win any money from him. Besides, if your risk of losing is zero, it's not a condition. Only Kerry knows if his risk is actually zero, but if it's not, that would keep me out of the game too.

PPT.

I'm noticing that short interest is at levels never before seen AND that the fed and Paulson go through periods where they obviously talk down the markets and then periods where they encourage squeezes. I really think a few months out that we're getting set up for a significant squeeze. What do you think about that? It has me scared to make long term bearish positions, although I am still for short term and medium term plays.

Just something I've been thinking about.

(Oh yeah, went from being up 40% for the year- if you can believe that[got very lucky when I started paying attention again], to being up 10%. Near term I'm both paying off mortgage to hide money from myself and changing strategy to an extent. You can make money in a manipulated market just as easily as a regular market, just have to hedge and figure out how to profit.) If I'm right, very interesting.
