when do you plan on getting back in?

This summer? I am figuring that most of the subprime resets should be done by June/July....meaning we will be through the worst of it. If business inventories remain low and there is not a huge drop in employment, and if housing inventories continue to improve, I think the markets might start to bottom. While earnings are important, I think a bigger tell is when some financial company announces another crisis and the markets don't drop like plummeting elevators. Then we will know that the markets have built in the worst of it and are ready to bottom.

I'm thinking that we're going to have another downdraft as the earnings reports come in for Q1. That might be a good entry point. Then again, the rest of the year is going to look like shit until right after the election. What are your thoughts?

That's the other thing.......I think consumer sentiment will improve as we get nearer to the time when Bush leaves the WH. I think the current administration acts as a serious downer on sentiment.
