That's just the (R) "starve the beast" coming to fruition. The thing about that is, The (D)'s will be in charge when the beast starts starving, and they will slash military spending to the bone and raise taxes first, before touching the domestic social programs. The (R)'s were counting on Rove's "permanent (R) majority"!

Damn those unintended consequences!

We need to make sure enough is put in so everyone has the same "floor." It's a good investment; people who feel more secure are more productive.
