Wow, I must admit you have guts! Any serious illness has the potential to cost 6-7 figures these days, so unless your stash of cash is REALLY huge the possibility of losing it all is there. I suppose it could also be there with insurance if the bills got big enough and you exceeded your lifetime cap, but you are taking a risk...

There should be a no-insurance price for medical care that is actually much lower. It used to be that way. Medical billing is a total scam.

no hospital will let you in to do a procedure. what happens if you need more work or if they fark up?
fark ups can cost 6 figures or more, you get MRSA who is going to pay?
You may think you can buy health care as you need it, you are wrong.

If you really needed some expensive medical care (elective and non life threatening) you could always go on Medical Tourism to Thailand or India.
