Prolly half what I pay

At my grocery store this morning, Texas grapefruit were 89 cents each -- almost twice what you pay. Go figure. Just yesterday, I heard that Galveston has the highest gasoline prices in the state, and it's just a stone's throw from the large refineries.

The grapefruit trees are in bloom around this time of year, and the harvest of last year's crop is ending. With the help of cold storage, you'll probably have them for at least another month or two.
