I don't see why you have a problem with it.. I pulled it out of my @ss so you should find it credible... ;0) However, fortunately for me, I have a pretty good memory and I can google and find documentation to support my facts.. The DOW lost almost 700 points when it reopened after 9/11.. By the end of that week it had WIPED OUT (or really transferred) nearly 1.2 Trillion in wealth. :When the stock markets reopened on September 17, 2001, after the longest closure since the Great Depression in 1929, the Dow Jones Industrial Average (“DJIA”) stock market index fell 684 points, or 7.1%, to 8920, its biggest-ever one-day point decline. By the end of the week, the DJIA had fallen 1,369.7 points (14.3%), its largest one-week point drop in history. U.S. stocks lost $1.2 trillion in value for the week. en.wikipedia.org Now, of course, we've made good on recovering from those levels and reaching new highs. However, if you were long and either got margin called or forced to sell, you might have been wiped out.. If you were short, you made out like a bandit. Was 911 worth paying a trillion or even half a trillion for retrubution? NOPE. Was Pearl Harbor, with only 2000 lives lost, worth putting 12 million Americans under arms, losing 400K of them dead, and nuking 2 Japanese cities in order to avoid 1 Million more casualties invading Japan?? How many Americans have to die before it IS "worth" it to you? 10,000?.. 100,000?.. 1 million? 10 million?? Or do you just want to wait until a couple of hundred million Muslims become dominated and indoctrinated by this Islamo-Fascist Jihadism? Hawk
