"I haven't signed a party loyalty pledge, have you?" No. But I don't have to register with a party to vote. I just can't vote in more than one primary on a given day. "If you sign the dnc politburo loyalty pledge and vote for McCain, will your comrades come get you in the night?" Where does the DNC have a loyalty pledge? Now, I do find it interesting that the Virginia state Republican party tried to institute a loyalty pledge. So it looks like the Republicans are the only ones guilty of this.
