I agree totally with your assessment of the situation in Iraq. The escalating economic/financial crisis in the west could be the first inning of what will ultimately be a huge settling of accounts in the years ahead. The fact that the powers that be were able to sell the American public a brutal and genocidal war against the people of Iraq based on a pack of lies probably emboldened them to try something similar on the domestic front. Now both are unravelling. And both will get much worse IMHO.
