"You mean moral standards. " No, I don't. Someone who preaches against something while engaging in that behavior pretty clearly doesn't have those moral standards. They have just adopted the language because they know it will win them some votes. "And are proud of it thinking that by not being hypocrites they are morally superior." I fail to see where hypocrisy makes them morally superior. Because not only don't they have those moral values, they are also lying about it. "Why did Barney Frank have a male livein hooker? " I dunno. Ask him. He claims that he didn't know about the activities and the fact that he turned himself into the ethics committee gives some degree of support. The House Ethics Committee is not known to be aggressive and generally has to be dragged, kicking and screaming to do anything. "Was having sex w/ an underage page not illegal for Studds?" The page wasn't underage at the time. So it wasn't illegal. It, however, stunk ethics-wise. "Gingrich resigned. On point for my argument." Only if he resigned because of his affair(s). He didn't. He resigned because he had lost control of his caucus to DeLay and the Bugman wanted his job.
