Yeah I must admit that sometimes I do get too excited about this stuff. I am impressed by how may folks are now working on new battery possibilities, it's getting hard to keep up with what is being worked on. It's probably the holy grail for alt energy stuff since the medium for energy transfer now and the future is electrons. After looking into the physics of fuel cells many years ago I came to the conclusion that would be a dead end do to efficiency problems. The hydrogen economy has some missing links. Maybe in 50 years?

I have followed EESTOR for a little while and that capacitor technology sounds impressive indeed. But, as you know the devil is in the details. When I saw the claimed leakage rate of the capacitor my jaw dropped to the floor! Forget chemical batteries... I've had real doubts about super caps and followed the development of them being used in high energy physics (lasers)from Maxwell Technologies.

There is a real horse race going on and that's great for all of us in the long run.
