The situation in Iraq is hopeless

Nonsense.

You and other liberals WANT it to be hopeless -- at least until the election is over -- but the reality is that the situation has improved markedly. We have lost 35 soldiers this month, 1/3 to 1/2 the losses from this time last year.

Unfortunately, the Left incites the deaths of American soldiers who are there fighting it, by leading the enemy to believe they can run us out.

While there have been failures as there have with any war, some of which have been serious, there have been successes and the end result, once we win it, is worth fighting for.

"Under Saddam [Hussein]'s regime, we had limited salaries but we had security and decent services.

Ah yeah, the good old days under Saddam when propagandists like Allam were telling the world how our sanctions regime was killing 50,000 Iraqi children a year.
