Thanks... my quandry is NOT long term.. clearly headed for debasement of (esp $US) currencies and higher gold prices... I'm concerned about the short term depression and panic. With our whole economy revolving around services driven by printing IOU's in order to buy Chinese goods massive dislocation has occured and unwinding it all in a short period of time is going to be incredibly painful IMHO. I see VERY high unemployment ahead for example... Germany in the 20's? Massive debts must be wiped out. Sure, in the long run everything works... as always. DAK
