Ken, if it makes you feel any better, I woke this morning at 6:30 and peeked outside. Rain. The thermometer registered 34 degrees, so let me say, cold rain. Then it began to snow. No accumulation, but still discouraging considering it's March 30. The birds outside my window are enjoying breakfast at the feeder. I have American Goldfinches (bright yellow now), Hoouse Finches and a larger sparrow type of bird. Wish I could attract some cardinals, but I've never seen them around here.

We still had snow on the yard and roads until about noon, especially on the north side...but it's been better this afternoon....Hopefully, the sun will be out tomorrow or Tuesday, then it will be spring! We'll send it your way when we see it....

Your stew sounds good right now....!.. but then its just 7:45 here...
