I thought this guy loved Bush. <G> He is right about one thing. The Arabs have to start taking charge of their own future, not leave it to extremists and corrupt royals. They've been a conquered people for so many centuries that they may not have that independence concept down pat. And, the really odd thing is, their religion has conquered all the people who have conquered them, from the Turks to the Mongols to, well, not the English. <G>

I think both Kansas and UCLA are good enough to win the national championship, but predict the other two make the finals. As a native Californian, I am rooting for UCLA. But I was born and raised in Northern and Central California, so my heart is not in it since Cal departed the NIT and Stanford got whomped in the NCAAs.

I am picking North Carolina to take it all. Part of that is atonement for the note where I said that John Edwards was a native son of South Carolina. <G>

Does anyone else think it's ridiculous to have 65 teams in this tournament? The Final Four are all teams everyone predicted to make the Sweet Sixteen. Do we really need the 5th and, sometimes, 6th place finishers in The Big Ten, SEC, Pac-10, ACC, Big 12, etc.?

Somehow, the tournament should be a showcase for the best teams and not a crapshoot where some upstart can get lucky, but rarely does.
