It's very clear that pot is much more effective for neuropathic side effects of diabetes than morphine. Much much more. And from what I've seen personally, it might be because it fights the cause of the neuropathy rather than the symptoms. But I've been finding out that consuming it probably produces better results than smoking it. Oh yes. Before they took away my "medicine" my eye pressure was 16.
