"what is a corporation?"

It's a potentially immortal entity that lives only for profit. It has all the rights of an individual, except the right to vote. It employs actual human beings and pays them to serve it's need, which is profit.

If any of the humans it employs take actions or say things that interfere with it's profits, they can be fired. It uses portions of it's profits to buy politicians which more than makes up for it's lack of a vote.

It contributes to the wealth of the nation, and pays the freight for the people it employs. Only 17% of Americans work directly for large corporations.
