I do wonder what a middle class black family or a poor black family thinks of the Obamas when they complain about their student loans and their struggle with raising their family on $500,000.00 a year.

To be fair to Obama, he's clearly regarding his positions back in college as sophmoric foolishness. You can tell from his voice on the audiobook. But it's difficult to tell from the book (admittedly I've only heard excerpts) what he wound up believing.
