Neither party prior to this yr has nominated a woman or African American for POTUS. So, historical guidelines do not apply this time. History might be made not only in the nominee, but in the results as well.

The GOP has screwed the entire nation, so hopefully McCain, despite his semi-maverick ways, will not be accepted.
