We are close in how we view this mess. For me, trading weeks to months, I just don't see a good entry here yet. A deep test or a new low would be a much better entry.

The financials, from the big banks, through the investment banks, down to the small regionals, are a very interesting set of charts. Some of the smaller-cap ones have been just crushed -- losing 80%-90% of their value. Others, like COF, look like they are near (days, a week or two) finishing a viable looking a-b-c out of January lows.

Speaking of COF, man that is a nice, and pretty rare, rounded top
one sees through 2004-07.

$TRAN vital to bullish case.

Here we see a breakout and backtest of that move that would see TRAN go back to the highs. Was the breakout a head fake, in which case it will melt, or is it real and all we've seen this last week or so is a backtest?
