My edit was timed to long. I recommend it before I read this. I had his thread book marked. I can say I limit my diversification. Sometimes I even get investment ideas from other investors, but those decisions are based on my own caveat. Just maybe why SI has a business model.<g> IMO-If they had a choice. They would not pick politics to be here, but I think they know to full well that would put a limit on freedom of expression and limit their growth. I didn't know him,or ever posted on his board, but even the late Zeev Hed knew enough to keep politics out of investing. I know now, but choose to keep it limited to specific boards now. I also full well know the consequences from it. My passion for it will outweigh any bookmarks or limits I receive from it. I go and think business outside the SI box a lot. I get business news from many sources, TV, other people I meet, and read, and web pages now. I do most of my home work late night when others closest to me are in not of need of me. I sometimes take breaks away from it. I do have a lot of my picks posted that I own. You already know how important a watch list or research can be for timing when you've decided to make your move. I like games and contests. To me It's like a self challenge game with my investment money at risk. That's plenty reason to keep yourself in check. My peers who want to know will keep me in check also. We used to have such games at II. Post below. Yes, I actually owned that stock and benefited from it greatly, but If I had kept it and held it. I would have lost all my money. I take big risk sometimes. I've also lost a lot at specific times. I have other caveats posted on the SITT board. Many times I do not list information, because if they were interested. They would,or will follow it later, on their own. I like it that way. It's my style.
