Thank God for currency plays. Exactly! I sold off about 30% of my gold yesterday in anticipation of a move down. Will replace it later as I think gold may test low 800s. Sold off virtually all of my Yen, too, as I believe that Japanese banks are hiding enough subprime stuff to affect the currency. I may be wrong, but why take the chance if I am uncomfortable? Bought more Swissie which is unfortunately not doing too well today. Nonetheless, I am not worried about it as I expect it to continue to rise against the dollar, notwithstanding UBS which was an open secret anyway.
