Election year. Democrat congress do anything constructive? Not likely. Them doing nothing but jawing isn't an all bad outcome. Talk about fat people having special rights. We flew back from Vegas last Friday. I was on the window, wife unit in the middle and this 6' tall probably 400 lb man on the outside. Arm rest up as he was taking up 1 1/2 seats, I crammed to the window as much as I could and wife scrunched into me. Absolute flight from hell and probably most uncomfortable 3 1/2 hours I've spent in quite some time. I've heard Southwest has determined that if you can't have the arm rest down you need to buy both seats. I'm now firmly in favor of that being the norm.
