Well now I am wondering what you think has been accomplished?

The government is in chaos...Maliki may fall.
Iran's influence in the region has never been higher..never.
The bottle of sectarian and inter-tribal unrest has been uncorked and won't be put back easily.
The kurds have closed off their sector of "the country" and are now battling our allies, the Turks, ticking them off big time and creating problems for us.
Oil production in Iraq is down and may drop more.
The upcoming elections are likely to be a bloody mess, with Americans trying to hold together a democracy that doesn't want to exist.

What do you think has been accomplished in Iraq, exactly? I am not being naive. I just don't see moving Iran into an increasingly powerful position (which can't be denied) is such a great achievement.
