I don't know why you would want to do that.. You have your primary file and when you use Quicken Backup File, you are creating an identical copy of that file as a Backup so that if your primary file is messed up then you can recover from the backup..

You cannot move your Backup file or rename it and access it as it is.. Only way to recover the Backup file is thru Quicken Restore File..

There are other File Operations such as Copy etc.. which I have never used.. Perhaps you can check Copy as a mean of making a copy and not Backup..
