Common sense dictates following the script. Right now,the script is trying to detail a plan to allow the financing side of the equation to continue to fuction unabated for awhile longer thereby reducing the risk of a complete freeze.

The Fed is pumping our tax payers dollars into a system to create the illusion of security in an envelope of transparency. The idea here is to settle the markets in the short term out of pure necessity,so they say. The question is how long can they starve off the inevitable consequence of fiscal irresponsibility the last seven years have left us? The markets have been ruined. Does anyone really think that by using tax payers(borrowed) money we will correct this mess? Temporarily, yes? But..., More fiscal malfeasance is not a cure. It is a crime. And crime does not pay in the Long run.

How they do not eventually hyper inflate eludes me. By hyper inflating and using various cost cutting expenditures in varing combinations should allow the markets to settle. This will take time;just like the 1970's.

Payback is a bitch and inevitable!
