Hey coug! Long time....

Word on the street is that MU might look at Bennett. I like him, but his style of basketball is not something I am crazy about. He would be a good hire however.

I am really bummed. As the other post noted, I am not certain Crean is a great game coach either, and his "ability" to restrain James shooting leaves something to be desired, but all in all, he was very good for Marquette. The problem anytime something like this happens is what do you replace him with? At this point I am not certain MU will get someone that will be better. So I am bummed.

First Favre, now Crean.

Tough year for me in sports.

I think Crean will struggle at IU for a while and will end up producing an OK product. I don't see national titles or anything, but maybe. Time will tell. IU is a tough place to coach. Great history and tradition, no doubt...but to start from scratch when he had a good thing at MU makes little sense to me. I suppose the grass is always greener. Not True.
