Unless something unforeseen happens the 44th President is likely to be a one termer. The economy is not poised for a short term recovery. Helicopter Bernanke is not as respected or as dedicated to an even keeled economy as his predecessor.

Democrats don't want to face the reality that demographic shifts are working against them due to the disparity of reproductivity between conservatives and liberals.

I think we may be forgetting how acrimonious primary campaigns used to be. I was at the '60 Democrat Convention in LA, and JFK, LBJ, etc, were at each other's throats.
