I have a suggestion I'd like to make. If you have a soldier who has died in your town or a town close enough to you and you can attend that soldiers funeral, please do. It does mean a lot to the family that a total stranger cared enough to take time out of their lives to pay tribute to their loved one who has made the ultimate sacrifice. The Patriot Guard Riders are a national group of motorcyclists, with chapters all over the country, provides an honor guard for fallen soldiers. They serve not only to keep the nutcase protesters such as the Westboro Baptist crew away from the family and service but also just to show up and pay tribute to the fallen. patriotguard.org
