You're probably right, but since they keep quoting trading data, for some stupid reason I keep expecting equity prices to reflect actual economic conditions

That of course is not going to happen as long as the US version of Mugabe's ZANU-PF party effectively controls the money supply -- it's either sideways or up, down is not an option

For old times sake, I reserve the right to still cling to a tiny 1% probability that the market might one day assert its will and head south too fast to be propped by inflated dollars
