For democrats it is all about having and holding power. The exact people I would not want to have power are those who lust for it.

Democrats are willing to cause whatever harm and pandemonium necessary to get the power they lust. In the minds of those afflicted it is better to rule a weak power than to be a nobody in a great power. I wonder how many of them learned their power lust from Saddam Hussein who felt that having absolute power was essential to enjoy life.

There are more than a few Republicans afflicted with power lust. I wish the party would purge them and get back to their roots of conserving.
