Tactical errors were made, and changing the strategy after Saddam was captured was a mistake.
But the initial strategy was valid.

Iraq is not VietNam. When you stop living in the past and romanticizing the anti-war movement of the sixties you might see that. Sheesh the sixties were an era of open mindedness; how did you close minded old farts come to own it.
