It's very difficult for a lay person to analyze the global warming issue.

If "MAN MADE" global warming "was not" occurring the scum on the left would invent it just to panic people and use it as an excuse to raise taxes and transfer more power to government and its institutions, the UN etc...

If "MAN MADE" global warming "was" occurring the scum on the right would deny it to maximize profits even if we are destroying the planet.

Scientists are not to be trusted because most have political and other agendas. They are also dependent on government for funding.

All the recent articles I have read from what I believe to be somewhat neutral sources suggest that if there is/was any global warming it's NOT man made.

On the flip side, I see no downside to trying to encourage the use of cleaner fuels, energy conservation etc...It just has to be done in a sensible way - which in turn means the government and it's institutions can't take too much of a role other than educating consumers and promoting better choices.
