Now you're saying that we should have continued to "care" with sanctions, which accomplished nothing but create suffering among those they weren't designed to punish.

The UN sanctions should have been left in place......they were doing what they were intended to do. If the Iraqis were unhappy with Saddam, then it was their perogative to overthrow him....not your's, not Cheney's, not Bush's.
