I had, indeed, confused the two. Thanks for the correction. I've visited Dalarna and Norrland, mostly. Plus Stockholm, Uppsala, and the area around Lake Vättern.

As a child, I moved with my family all over the USA. We were in the midwest, the south, the northeast and the southwest. All before I was 12. So I know what you mean about rootlessness. But I'm very adaptable, too.

But it certainly is good for people to live in cultures other than their own. People who haven't done that have missed out on learning how much of their worldview is just based on assumptions that aren't universally shared.
