Boy, U R clever. Nothing will stop the charge in oil prices. They will take all the dollars they can get - they don't give a shit about interest rates. They can't even provide interest in Islamic oil countries. They will always be buying US and Euro financial instruments since Muslims governments and companies are banned from making interest rate contracts.
